Posted about 5 years ago Hi! I'm a new LPN graduate and need advice on finding a job. I want to do a year in med/surg, then specialize in either hospice or postpartum once I get my RN. Any suggestions? redfairy OOPs!! I live in Georgia, Northeast |

| Posted about 5 years ago dmazement's right- also, some hospitals will hire you to other areas, maybe even postpartum as a new grad. Unless you just want the experience from med-surg. |

| Posted about 5 years ago my employer is on OB/GYN and our clincial supervisor prefers MA's or LPN's right out of school, she says they are easier to mold. There may be some practices in your area similar. I agree with Shan...it never hurts to look into it. Good luck |

| Posted about 5 years ago I am a new Graduate Nurse (Lic. RN) in Las vegas, Nevada. I have not seen any positions for New Graduate. Really I just want to know what to expect and am I missing something? I thought there was a need for nurses. |
