Hey everybody, it looks like it is going to work out, FINALLY. I've got all of my budget set so that next year (May) I can quit my job and attend the LPN program full-time. I plan on immediately transitioning into an LPN-RN program and then into the ASN-BSN program. It will all told still take me about 4 years to get my BSN, but this way keeps me working plus most importantly (based on my research) keeps my employers footing the bill for my total education. Several employers out there offer full tuition in exchange for work contracts, say full reimbursement in exchange for 3 years of service. Just wanted to let all know that while it is taking me a little longer than expected I am still getting there on step at a time.
