i heard there is a scholarship where if you agree to work for as many years as was paid for your education in an area needing nursing you can get a full scholoarship for nursing. is this true? what is it called?

i've heard of it... i think its if you're working at a hospital they have that kind of deal.

Check with the hospital(s) in your area. I know here where I live you can get a scholarship with a hospital if you promise to sign on with them for "x" amount of years after you graduate from nursing school. But - if it is there like it is here - you have to have already completed at least the first semester of nursing school first and obtained good grades. Check into it - I think it is the Human Resource department that can give you the information.

Almost any military organization will have a full scholarship ride, but as a government contract nurse here is a good reference for that scholarship.
