List of items really needed for school

Posted about 5 years ago Lots of questions I have about entering the accelerated BSN program this June. It is an intensive 15 month program and I am wondering if some of you who have been there, done that, have any great recommendations on needed items. For example, is a laptop really necessary? PDA? Dansko shoes even - I just would love to hear about those things maybe I wouldn't think of that were incredibly helpful for you during your school experience. Thanks. |

| Posted about 5 years ago I use my laptop and PDA every day. Don't know about Dansko shoes but I wear Cherokee rockers with ortho inserts. Gotta have good shoes! Good Luck! Stacie |

| Posted about 5 years ago I did an accelerated ADN program (16 months), and you are on the right track....a computer, great shoes, an excellent calendar/organizer, oh, yeah, and several alarm clocks:) It is a grueling time, but so worth it in the end!! Best of Luck:) |

| Posted about 5 years ago Had to have white closed shoes, but I made sue I got a good pair with support. I also can't part with my PDA. I have it loaded with a Drug book, IV drug book, EKG, Medical dictionary, plus much more. Also my laptop has been great for all of my paperwork and assignments, but also get a flash drive to save all of you info and papers. (Lot of papers) |
