I don't recommend any field in nursing, I think you need to decide what suits you best, what your strengths are and what you ultimately get the greatest satisfaction from

I have found that each nurse finds their 'place'. The area of nursing where they belong. It may take a few attempts before you get there, but when you do, you know that this is where you're supposed to be. There is not one particular right place for everybody. This is a good thing because everybody can't do the same thing. I personally have done Neonatal ICU, Cardiac ICU, home health and finally hospice, which is my 'place'. However, I can see myself moving into a non-clinical position as time goes by. As we spend more years in the field, we pay our dues and don't want to do on-call, weekends, holidays, etc. Plus, direct nursing gets too physically demanding as we get older. Thank goodness there are so many areas in non clinical nursing available.
