Anyone happen to know what an inflamed uvula could be caused by? A friend of mine was having trouble sleeping. She had gone to sleep fine, then woke up feeling like something was stuck in the back of my throat. The doctor said it was an inflamed uvula. I'm not in this area of nursing, so that's why I'm putting this in front of all of you. She just needs some help.
