Im thinking about becoming a nurse i graduate this year!!! I def want to do something that has to do with labor and delivery. But i dont know where to start.What would be the best way to become that kind of nurse?? Thanks

You will need to be an RN( atleast in our area you have to be). Check your local colleges and get some info on their programs. You can do a 2 year or 4 year degree.

You could apply to be an OB tech, or a nursing assistant/PCA on a L&D unit, or on a postpartum unit. The training is all on the job, and gets your foot in the door to the wonderful world of L&D!

You have to become an RN first like shan4691 said. You will have this rotation in school as well as others. I loved my ob class and clinicals and thought about being an ob nurse at one point. But once you finish with nursing school you can go into this area as an RN.
