Posted about 5 years ago i need a little help from you guys. i have a research project, all about nutritional problems among children. i already have some, but i need more, do you knowany nutriitional prob...? like for example, malnutrition then its classification, nature of the problem and the solution for the given problem...

| Posted about 5 years ago Rickets- I know it's not seen frequently, but in the poorer populations it is seen. Rickets is an abnormal bone formation in children resulting from inadequate calcium in their bones. This lack of calcium can result from inadequate dietary calcium, inadequate exposure to sunshine (needed to make vitamin D), or from not eating enough vitamin D - a nutrient needed for calcium absorption. ......................Also try this website: http://www.novartisnutrition.com/Info/us/child_nutrition.html ..............................and this one: http://journals.cambridge.org Look for nutritional problem in children. | Posted about 5 years ago I know childhood obesity is at an all time high and can cause many nutritional deficits. I just have a couple of minutes so I can’t research it right now, but you can go on many nursing and medical sights and do a search.--There are a few more I have in my head but I can’t pull them out right now. I think Shan has some good websites for you already, good luck. |
