Is it possible to work full time while taking a 1 year LPN course evenings? I PLAN TO WORK 7AM-3PM MON-THURS/FRID 7AM-1PM. MY CLASSES ARE 5:30PM-10:30PM WITH FRIDAYS 2PM-10PM. Can i work? I plan to pay for it i dont want to take out a loan i rather a loan for RN? $9,902 I HAVE TO WORK MY BUTT OFF TO PAY. Any nurses opnions?

yes u can work. night courses are built for that..just think instead of coming home and watching tv or doing the many jobs of the household you'd b going to school to better your carear. I work 7 pto 7a 4 nights a week  on weekends and will start lpn night (5-10) during the week next august and If i can do it...u can!!!!! if it gets too hard just think of what you'll earn after it's over..

YES THIS IS POSSIBLE I DID THIS IN THE NIGHT WEEKEND PROGRAM FOR 18 MONTHS AND WQORKED FULL TIME DAYS M-F IT WAS HARD BUT IT WAS WORTH . I HAD A LOT OF SUPPORT FROM MY HUSBAND AND MY SON .GOOD LUCK

YES YOU CAN!


I completed a night Practical Nursing Program this past December. I graduated with a 3.93 GPA and never missed a class or clinical while working full-time 8-5 MON-FRI. I had to take time off my job for some clinical hours and did a lot of work all week and clinicals all weekend. But you can do it. It takes determination and discipline but hey so does nursing!
