The Katrina nursing home trial opened today. The owners of a nursing home in St. Bernard's Parish, LA are being charged with the deaths of 35 nursing home patients following Hurricane Katrina. Is this fair? Should healthcare providers be held responsible when a natural disaster was involved?

no- I think they should have acted sooner. after all, they were responsible for all those patients. I've always believed it's better to be safe than sorry.
