Several weeks ago, I stepped on some toes defending someone.  I don't apologize for my opinions, especially when someone apologizes and other's quote out of context.    Recently, I've been tagged three times as a Drama Queen, while I find this amusing, I'm beginning to feel as if I'm being attacked, particularly because these tags are all anonymous.  Supreme Master Drama Queen of Drama Queens, The Drama Queen and Drama Queen.  If this is being done maliciously, then it's childish and can be hurtful.  If this is a joke being played, ok I'll go along with it.  However, if you want to make more of a point, be an adult, then step up to the plate and acknowledge your tags.

I don't think your a Drama Queen.....to me Supreme Master Drama Queen of Drama Queens sounds a little immature and not well thought out, my 10 or 12 year old could come up with something better then that... I think you are great person Dmazment and I like your honesty.  You are honest without being rude or without making people feel inferior.  You may be a Queen, but you aren't a DRAMA QUEEN....oh mighty master....LOL

Dmaze: do not stress over it. I had anonymous several tags a while back. What those who are doing this just do not get is that the tags and the emails can be traced right back to them with very little effort. I agree with proudnavywife, they are very childish.

I am getting so very fed up with all of the petty games. What is this high school? We have so many great people on this site. Let’s not let a weirdo spoil it for us.

Dmazment- I don't think you're a drama queen either. You say what you think, sometimes there may be alittle edge to it, but so what? We're all here to express our feelings right?  My daughter is the Head drama queen and my little granddaughter is right behind her.

Thanks all, I really am thick skinned.  I'm with cd about the childish games some are playing.  I left high school damn close to 40 years ago.  Come to think of it, I didn't play those games then either.

cd- LOL as usual!

I apparently am the last one to notice Deb's new signature. What is wrong with people?! Why does there always have to be one in the crowd that has to stir up drama. I think "anonymous" is actually the "drama queen". This person knew that by posting these comment on one of the "popular kids" it would cause drama in it's own right! Some people can only feel good about themselves by putting others down. Next time maybe they will have the balls to actually put their name!

Well, whoever posted it has no idea what a drama queen is. They just need to spend one day on a psych unit with only one borderline personality disorder patient in the mix. That will show them what a real drama queen is.

I found this definition here ya go Mr/MS  Anonomys just for your education:

In literature, the character Scarlett O'Hara from Margaret Mitchell's Gone with the Wind would be considered a drama queen by today's standards. A drama queen is notoriously self-centered and self-absorbed, often viewing friends and relatives as lesser beings assigned to take care of her personal needs. A drama queen's worst enemy is solitude, so she tends to be very outgoing and sociable, although many of her friendships tend to remain at surface level. Others who have experienced the drama queen's sudden outbursts in the past may have a feeling of walking on egg shells around her, not wanting to be the person who delivers upsetting news or offends the drama queen in any way.

I must comment... Someone wants to be the center of attention.  And he/she has succeeded.  My goodness the person needs inpatient psych help and lots of thorazine.  hahaha.

I am new to Nurse link, I hate to see this kind of gossip going on here, we are all professionals and need to look past pettiness, name calling is still for children...who do not know better. We need to get along and be supportive of each other, isn't that why we are here on this site?, otherwise you can go onto "myspace" and send a terrible blog about someone ( I just learned what a blog was last week by my 14 year old).We are NURSES! Have respect for yourself and others will also.

You're right busy, which is one of the reasons I decided to do the original posting.  Another reason is to just laugh it off, which is why I really liked cd's post on drama queens and Scarlet O'Hara.

Yeah, can't wait for that.  I tell them "Don't make Daddy turn you into a statistic."
