Posted about 5 years ago So I'm in Maine and I'm in desperate need for work but I can't find anything! I'm so disheartened. I'd be willing to relocate but but I'd need a place to stay or a moving bonus but I've been to almost every Nurse website possible and I'm stilling having a hard time. Anyone else having similar problems? |

| Posted about 5 years ago Have you tried any of the agencies, or travel nurse companies? There's also www.medhunters.com Monster.com has a lot of nurse jobs on their site, always. If you're interested in relocating south, HCA is the biggest private hospital corporation in the Southeastern US - and they're hiring all over the place. http://www.beanurseathca.com/ Not a bad company to work for by any means. Good luck in your search and keep us posted! Ted "The smallest minority on earth is the individual. Those who deny individual rights cannot claim to be defenders of minorities." - Ayn Rand |

| Posted about 5 years ago Most facilities will not pay bonus and relocation money to a new grad who has not taken the NCLEX yet. Many facilities will not hire a new grad until boards are taken and passed. Gone, in many states, is the ability to work as a GN until boards are taken. |
