Posted about 5 years ago Hi there all you lovely nurses! First off, I already have a Bachelor's degree from UCLA in English and I've just decided I want to get a BSN! QUESTION ONE: do you know of any programs in Southern California that give shorter programs ( 2-3 yr) for someone who already has a BA? I say this b/c I have soooo many loans to pay off and need more time to get started already! QUESTION TWO: is it possible to work during that period of time while trying to become an RN? QUESTION THREE: do you know of any places where I could get grants or "free money" as they call it...? Again, I just graduated and I have tons of loans to pay off! If anyone could help me out via these subjects I would be very grateful! This website doesn't go greatly in detail about my concerns :( Thanks! Diana |

| Posted about 4 years ago Im not sure about where you live but many university's offer whats called an Accelerated second bachelors of science degree in nursing that usually last for four semesters once you have completed your prereqs. |
