| Posted over 1 year ago I have completely read all the informations with the new policy required by CALIFORNIA BRN. As far I know, they are tough and strict now because of too much nurses here in the US... Yes, US does not need any nurses at mthis moment and the momentum is gradually increasing. There are a lot US garduate who still does not have work despite they passed the NCLEX and time frame of waiting to get a job for new graduate is 6 months or more. I personally experience this when I decided to resign and move...I was jobless for about 2 months despite I have credible credentials ICU nurse and ER nurse as of my 2nd job. So, please it is not advisable to our fellow Filipino to continue pursuing in the US it is not worth at all. You can take PT or OT or even ST or med Tech... That will be a demand specially now you can apply visa at US embassy and not like nursing it is closed. FOr rehab workers US have a Big shortage as in BIGand we can feel it now.. FYI, I am also a PT before I came to US to work as Nurse but nwo I am planning to take my FCCPT bec of the demand and almost 2x rate...then about credentialing, the reason they are strict it because there are a lot foreign nurses are not qualified to filled up the vacant position...and some applicants abroad their credential are BOGUS meaning they dont really attend the class and there TOR are dated backward. and of course, they want to see your passport because some US citizen or immigrants who studied abroad they are here in US working but they have Nursing diploma on the current year. So, how come it happened? that was some scenario here in US. Although, the informations are only a facts that can be fabricated or not concrete but still needs to be investigated.Even, Social Security they require. |
