Posted almost 6 years ago I got a message from a new member asking for any career advice for a returning nurse who is trying to get back into nursing after 10 years. Does anyone have any advice for this member? |

| Posted almost 6 years ago I would suggest taking a few in-service courses to brush up on new techniques and such. Many things have changed in the past 10 years in the medical field. |

| Posted almost 6 years ago But if you are already an RN, why take the LPN/LVN..? In-Servive courses are given at the hospital you would work at, if you choose to work in a hospital. They also often offer classes for new grads or new employees. |
