At the end of 2005 I was in a severe car accident.  Fractured many bones (R tib/fib, R knee cap, several ribs, L collar bone, and lastly a C-2 fracture) a year later I fell and broke my L hip and femur,  and in June of 2008 I broke my L wrist.  I now walk with a cane and have many issues with balance and falling.  I want to go back to work but I don't know where to turn to find a job I can do.  Do to my loss of income I lost my home and moved to SC from NY, then to NC and now am planing to move to either TX or FL.   Is there anyone who can advise me what type of nursing job I could do now.  I used to work in corrections both in the prison ER and the Infirmary, and was there for 10 years.  I am 59 years old and just became a nurse in 1997 (associate's degree).  I need serious help in finding a nursing position because I am not ready to turn in the towel.  If anyone has any suggestions to help me out I would greatly appreciate it.
