Posted about 5 years ago im currently a fresh BSN grad and i'm onto having my RN...uhmm do i have to take NCLEX to be able to work there in US? |

| Posted about 5 years ago Yes. As far as I know, licensure by examination is how initial licensure must be obtained in the US. I am not sure how the endorsement process works if you are licensed from another country - I do know that nurses licensed in the UK have had to take NCLEX to be licensed here.
