Posted almost 5 years ago Fathers day is around the corner and still no word from my step daughter. My husband is not expecting to hear from and it breaks my heart. I sent her a text asking her to be sure and contact him that day but no reply. I am scheduled to work night turn that night, I am hoping to switch with smoeone but if I can't I asked my daughter to make sure she does whatever with her dad in the morning so she can be with my husband in the afternoon when he gets home from work. He told me the other night that he feels that his love for her is fading. But I think he is just putting up a protective barrier around his heart and it just seems like its fading. His moods are improving he is no longer letting her actions depress him. I just don't know what to do anymore she completely ignores us and it not right. Its selfish and mean and evil. |

| Posted almost 5 years ago Pray for her. Kids are selfish. I hope you look at your opinion of her. Is she really mean and evil? I have been where he is. It is tuff. Can you control her feelings, can you change her, can you influence her? These are things that I ask myself about my kids. In reality I have no control over the thoughts or actions of my kids. Hope things work out. I know this is tuff. Prayer works for me. |

| Posted almost 5 years ago well she never contacted her dad for father's day. I did see her yesterday though. I was walking the dogs and went past her boyfirends dads house and a dog in the house started to bark and I heard her yell at it. I turned around and went to the door she looked like she tried to hide but she is too pregnant to move that fast anymore. We stood out on the porch and talked for awhile. Of course she had lame excuses for not calling her dad. She says she is writing a letter to him and she doesn't want to see him or talk to him til the letter is done. She wants him to read it then them get together and talk. I told her not to wait too long. My husband called me while I was standing there talking to her. I didn't tell him she was there but I did ask her if she wanted to talk to him ad she said no. I told him later that I saw her. |
