| Posted over 4 years ago Nobody enjoys answering the same question time after time. If it bothers someone, just tell the person asking how to navigate this site. If it doesn't bother anyone, then answer the question. If you are seeing the same questions, topics, etc. over and over, don't go to that page. If it's a problem for the original members, contact Administration and ask them to change things so most everyone will be happy. Not everyone is going to be happy 100% of the time, but doing nothing about a situation accomplishes nothing. A Proud Redneck Lovin' the Country Life |

| Posted over 4 years ago We have been asking laura59, over and over again. I've emailed, cdnurse has emailed, RNdude has emailed. I know others who have emailed. We've posted topics on it. |

| Posted over 4 years ago How a mass emailing from many members...create a flood so to speak. Do you think that would get anyone's attention or cause another problem? I, personallly don't want anymore problems...I have enough in day to day living sometimes. I came to this site because of an email from Nursinglink about a nurse who wrote a book, I think, about sexual harassment on her job and the smart remarks from MD's, etc. after she followed protocol and reported it. Forgot her name...sorry. Anyway, I'm here to chat, share opinions, maybe and idea or two and generally relax. If I learn something along the way, that's all good, too. Why don't you, dmazment, act as spokesperson and represent all who are interested in getting Administration to make a few changes? Let me know. A Proud Redneck Lovin' the Country Life |

I think you mean Adrienne Zurub. Great book, have you read it? I think a mass emailing wouldn't work, because many don't have the time, or won't take the time. I'd be willing to be the spokesperson if it's ok with most everyone else. |

| Posted over 4 years ago dmazment: I believe that was the nurse's name and no, sadly, I have not yet read her book. For the past 4 years I've loaded myself down with work for reasons of my own and have done little but work and sleep (you should see my house,,my cats hate it) but I'm hoping in the next couple of weeks to cut back somewhat and have time for things I really want to do. Photography being in the top two. Anyway, back to the subject, if you have the time and come up with some ideas I will do whatever I can to help. Let me know. BTW, this site is where I have spent more time in quite awhile. There are actually some good discussions going on here. Later. A Proud Redneck Lovin' the Country Life |

| Posted over 4 years ago Well, I am a newbie and have asked the questions and played the games. It's really funny because I see questions that pop up that I have asked. I have probably asked questions that were already asked as well(of course I searched first)...I tired of the games as well. Really though I think we need to all keep a positive attitude. No matter how many times a question is asked, it will be asked again!! LOL
I am interested in seeing the new stuff!!! |

| Posted over 4 years ago There are over 300 pages of postings to search to see what was already discussed. If you type in a word in "search", I've noticed it doesn't bring up all relevant topics. For example, I wanted to know about nurses liability insurance, so typed in "insurance". No topic came up that looked like it was asked before, so I posted it. After I did a few hours of reading the posts further, I found someone had asked that question...so, why didn't that come up when I searched for it? Is there another way to search other than that way? I agree that an employee needs to monitor the postings, or have some kind of program built in to the site that makes suggestions that the question was already asked, then direct you to the most likely posting before you are to add your posting. | Posted over 4 years ago I know it is sometimes aggravating to see a topic being posted more than once. There is alot of pages to search though to see if it has already been posted. But I feel like if it's already been posted and you've already given you advice you don't have to post again. There will always be someone else that can give their advice. And if you know where another identical post is that has had lots of post in it, you can always direct them to that post, or even post the link for them. |

This is true Starlight, but what happens when you know it's there and it does not come up on the search? Spend hours trying to find it? |

| Posted over 4 years ago Naw, I wouldn't spend hours looking for it. I know the search thing on here doesn't work very well. I know there has been stuff on here that I wanted to go back to and searched and was never able to find it. Sometimes it seems like it mysteriously disappears. LOL I do wish the search engine on here worked a little better. |

| Posted over 4 years ago That would be very nice if it worked better. Sometimes it's hard to find just about anything and everything. I was beginning to think it was my inability to look things up. A Proud Redneck Lovin' the Country Life |
