Need to lose weight!!!

Posted about 5 years ago Hello, I just had a baby 3 months ago and want to lose 25-30 lbs...Anyone have any good advice on weight loss? I'm considering weight watchers.

| Posted about 5 years ago Hi Sara, I want to do the same thing! I'm trying to get rid of about 15lbs. I've been doing the Slim Fast thing, because I'm having a hard time finding a diet I can commit to. I was thinking about Weight Watchers, too. My cousin did it and really liked it because you can eat foods tha tyou like still. If I had the money, I would totally do that system where they defliver all the food to your house! |

| Posted about 5 years ago Just be as active as you possibly can. The important thing is to not be stationary...keep busy...take walks....I think it is very easy to fall into bad eating havbits when you are just sitting around... |

| Posted about 5 years ago We just bought a treadmill so I can walk and take care of the kids. I do 30 min. a day and am trying to stop eating after 7:00, and less pop and sweets during the day. As long as you increase activity and eat carefully you will loose weight in a healthy way. Diets are not good for our bodies. CM |

I think it is a good idea that I stay moving, I really do sit with the kids a lot and then sit and eat and sit while I'm on the computer...!!! I could go on and on about sitting! And then I'm only on my elliptical 20 minutes...I think I picked up the sitting habit from school...It's hard to walk around and stay active with the amount of computer work and studying you have to put into it...So this summer off, I definitly need to take advantage of this free time and get off of my butt!!! Thanks again ya'll and good luck with everyone else's weight loss!!! Keep me posted. Sara |

| Posted almost 5 years ago Well I have to lose 117 pounds(yes I have to lose a whole other person-tha's ridiculous that I let it get this bad) so I could deffinately use any good advice as well. |

| Posted almost 5 years ago I need to lose weight too. I feel like how am I going to be a nurse and tell someone "Hey you need to eat better." and I just finished off a bag of Doritoes before I came in to do my teaching. Plus when I used to work those 12 hour shifts though I was a PCT my ankles would be so swollen. I know it was from the extra weight. I would like to lose 100 pounds. I have lost weight before but I just don't have the time or money to join a gym right now. Hummm..... I think a gym membership would be a great graduation gift...... |
