Posted almost 5 years ago Hello, my name is Michelle and I live in N. Texas. I am currently attending school to receive my degree in HIT. My heart is telling me to go down the original path I once walked on so I am exploring the field and seeing if I can really achieve my original goal of being a nurse on the labor and delivery unit. |

| Posted almost 5 years ago Health Information Technology... mainly dealing with records. I know I would probably get bored with this. About 15 years ago (my gosh... has it been that long???) I worked in a local physician office. I LOVED my job... everyday was something new... even cold season didn't dampen my spirits. The more I get into my current degree, the more my heart is screaming "YOU WON'T BE HAPPY" So, I'm trying to follow my heart as best I can and see what is out there for me to fulfill my dream. |

| Posted almost 5 years ago Many are attracted to L & D. Once a clinical rotation is done there, they change their minds. L & D is not alaways a happy place, when it is sad, it is Very sad. So many want to work in peds, I could never do that. I am so glad there are some who can. Good luck. There are so many things you can do with nursign and you will never be bored. |
