Diploma RN's are three year programs, hospital based. I do not know, if all your pre-requisites must be done before you apply or not.  I do know, most diploma RN's now take all the college based courses at a local community college, while all the nursing courses are taught at the facility along with clinical learning.  I have no idea where you live, but there are no diploma nursing schools in the west.
