Posted almost 5 years ago Hi, my name is crystal and I am only 16 years old but I know that in the near future I want to become a nurse. How could I start? |

| Posted almost 5 years ago Well you could start looking at schools in your area that offer a nursing program and request that they send you some info. Each school requires different things. That is what I did to get started. I got info from 3 different schools applied to all three and got accepted and narrowed it down from there. |

| Posted almost 5 years ago I agree with zonnie when stated that you should look at different school requirements. Also grades are an important part of the admission process, its very competitive and they truly take the top students. Also start study vocabulary words and math cause there are some schools that require pre entrance exams. Good Luck MICHELE

| Posted almost 5 years ago Work extra hard in your science courses & take anatomy & physiology if offered at your highschool. Also try volunteering or working as an aid at a nearby hospital, nursing home etc. |

| Posted almost 5 years ago You could also check into vocational training, where you get cna training and have clinicals at a nearby hospital or ecf.Good luck!!! |
