Posted almost 5 years ago Hi, i am going into my second year of college and I am in a community college. I plan to transfer to a cal state and I was wondering what my next step is. If i am correct I will transfer to a cal state and then after I graduate from the cal state I will need to go to a speficied nursing school?? or can i just do my nursing in the university?? |

| Posted almost 5 years ago Hi pooferpower, It will depend on whether or not the school you are planning on transfering to has a nursing program. If they do not have a nursing program, you will need to apply to a nursing degree program. Since you will have received a Bachelor's degree after graduating from the CA state schoool an accelerated BSN program might be perfect for you. These programs are typically intense, year-long programs that get you a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Sounds like you are on a great path toward becoming a nurse! Good luck! | Posted almost 5 years ago my advice is to transfer to one of the Cal State universities offering nursing. Why go for a degree you don't want, just so you can get into a bridge program? Waste of money and time. |
