Even though I am not a nurse, the reason why I am going into nursing is to help people.  I remember having to be put in the hospital 9 times in one year when I was a child, and the nurses bought me a pink hippo, and signed it.  I still have it to this day.  I went into renal failure 3 years ago, and luckily did not have to be put on dialysis, but the doctor said I was almost at that level.  I want to go into dialysis/oncology nursing.  My family has been very supportive.  My fiance, though has been my MAIN support.  He is the one that has encouraged me to go back to school, and get my degree.
