hello everybody, i was wondering why all these schools have a LPN bridging program but it is so hard to get accepted? I feel they should have a separate programs just for lpn's who want to accomplish their goals of becoming RN's.  instead they have generally one program for rn's and the only way for a LPN to get in is if someone fails a course, then the LPN can get a slot,  but there are so many lpn"s and not Enough openings from the people who do fail their first year in nursing school. But I thought there is a shortage of RN"s !
