I live in Northern Colorado and I'm interested in becoming an LPN. I'd really like to take the majority of my classes online, as I am a single mom and commute an hour to and from work every day. Does anyone have any recommendations as to where I can do this? If not, does anyone have recommendations on local schools that have great evening class availablilty?

Thanks. Laura.

I know that most schools offer online classes as well as night classes. Go to your local community college or university and ask them questions. A lot of school require you to take a few pre reqs before going straight into the nursing programs, which as I have come to find, are very selective. A lot of the classes will be offered online but I know that you will have to travel for clinicals so night classes sound like your best bet.

Good Luck!

Hi laura, iam currently taking all of my prerequisites for RN through south university it is online.just go to www.southuniversity.com and fill out the application.soon someone will contact you and get you started after you finish your classes online you can start on your clinicals on campus.if you can do your online classes full time you can finish them in less than a year because this university goes quaters not semesters.                                                                      GOODLUCK
