Pinning ceremonies at churches?

Posted almost 5 years ago Hi all. I'm hoping to get an answer to a question if you can give one. I have noticed that a lot of pinning ceremonies are held at churches. Mine will be next year as well. Does anyone know the reason for this? I don't mind at all, but I was just wondering if there was a significance or a history behind it all. Thanks. |

| Posted almost 5 years ago I can't really say. I have heard of pinnings being in churches, but never heard anyone say why. I think maybe it might just be b/c it's prettier than in an auditorium. Mine was in a dark dingy auditorium and it was not very pretty at all. We were all cramped up on the stage and I really wish it could have been different. We wanted to have it outside, but the dean wouldn't let us have it outside. Maybe someone else has some insight. |

| Posted almost 5 years ago It did work and that is absolutely beautiful. I am green with envy. I would have loved to of had my pinning there. You are so lucky to be able to have it in such a beautiful setting. How many students will be graduating? |
