Change is stresshardy and sometimes when change is going on, or even proposed, people say things that they immediately wish they had not said. (I'll make a huge leap that the genesis of these mounds of anonymous posts are because a number of us fear saying something that may not be taken back if our name is connected to it.

The person we are talking about here Ginny, is a real person with real feelings. Everybody has a right to disagree with her opinions and express one of their own. However, she is one of the first people that befriended me on Nursing Link (I dunno, maybe she got points for doing that) and she is still a friend. I don't agree with everything she says but then again, she doesn't agree with everything I say and do either. In fact I miss her presence and support on here.

Say what you like. Speak your mind, that's your right. But let's don't talk about her like she is anonymous. I quote Rodney King again and say...."Why can't we all just get along?"

I logged off for awhile, ate dinner, had two glasses of wine and I'm still pissed off.  Those of you who continue to make snide remarks anonmously, are rude anonymously, are cowards.  I've been upfront with all my feelings and I don't need to hide behind being anonymous.  You want to say something, acknowledge your feelings and post your name or here's a thought, don't post in the anonymous zone.  Those of you who continue to make these snide and rude comments are also those who eat their young.  Acknowledge this and change your abhorrent, disgusting and loathsome behavior, big words for some of you.  If you can't post under your own name and take the knocks that come with it, are not worth anyone's time.  I've been against anonymous zone from the beginning, bad idea and it's taking shape exactly like I thought it would.   dmazment

I think this section should be deleted. There should be NO anonymous zone in my opinion. I think because you can be anonymous, people tend to pour out there emotions. But often when they pour out their emotions, some garbage comes out too.

 Sorry, when I was speaking of the gall about saying the points do not matter, I was making reference to those who it really does matter and pretend they are so hoity toity about it all. She knows who she is.  What I am saying is they are saying one thing and clearly it is not so. There are many on here who could care less about the pints, me included. But, this one is saying she does not care and is obviously not so. And, she complained about bitchiness, then made that very bitchy “Elvis has left the building” remark.

Goodness! And to think I almost missed all this!  If you are referring to me- at least sign your name-you coward!  When I said "Elvis has left the building" it was not a "bitchy" remark. I said it because cdnurse loves Elvis! I miss cdnurse and I love her but I don't always agree with her. Everyone on this site has a right to express their views and opinions. I don't care about the points. I did at first but not now. Give cdnurse all my points- I don't care. It's all in fun. I don't really understand why cdnurse ws so upset. Does she really need points and stars to validate her worthiness on this site? I don't  think so. Everyone respects cdnurses'  opinion. She was one of the first to be on this site and was the first to welcome me. She has always been the "Big Cheese" and always will be, as far as I am concerned. We were not fighting. We were disagreeing (.I do think she is acting a bit childish about this.)  I don't know who you are but if you have something to say to me, say it to ME not in a post and be man/woman enough to sign your name!  I think too much was made of the whole points thing anyway. This is a place to come and enjoy yourself not bicker constantly. That takes all the fun out it. I don't think there should be an anonymous zone at all. It should be deleted. If you have somethong to say, say it,  then move on to something else. There's no need to go on and on whining about it. This dead horse has been beat enough!  As far as bitichiness goes, Anonymous gets the grand prize. I'm here to have fun. I'm not here for all this. Ok...let me get this straight. Some people here don't agree with the points thing (personally I don't care if I have points, but that's just my opinion) and others are peeved that some people don't care. All of this stems from an injustice done to someone who ( I assume) we all enjoyed. Why can't we get behind her and support her and stop all of the BS? And to think we call ourselves professionals!!!!!!! Here's a plan that we MAY all be able to agree on: We should petition to get points back for the people who lost them due to the changes. As I said, I personally don't care about my points, but I do think it's wrong to have them (especially after working so hard for them) taken away due to site changes. Why didn't the site administrators enact a policy that NEW points would fall under the NEW guidelines and leave the previoulsy awarded points alone? Can we all agree that this would have been the fair, and not to mention intelligent way to handle the policy change??                         ~emtpixie
