Supporting your nurses when they have a problem with whatever facility is in question.  Investigate rather than let the facility railroad your nurses.  Health insurance, a good one at a reasonable rate.  Make the facility stand behind the contract.   Have a contract where your nurses can't be abused and used.  No float policy for example.  It's been my experience as a travel and contract nurse, the contracts are always vague and usually slanted to benefit everyone but the nurses

Nurses look for a good work enviorment. Good shifts. Good benefits. And yes respect. Many places don't support nurses.

Whats an IC nurse

An IC nurse is What I abbreviated as an Independent Contractor......Which is what my company called Elite staffing does with our nurses.....They get the highest pay for what they do without the benefits like Health insurance or vacation pay time.....you are not an employee of the agency......It sounds wierd and not attractive at first until we tell you that you are gonna make an hourly rate of $61.75 an hour at a certain hospital thru our agency....then peoples ears go up.....

Thanks for posting
