Tell us what your specialty is.
I am a critical care nurse although I guess you could say that pulmonology is my specialty as well, because I worked in the MICU.

Critical Care here! My "favorite" patients are sepsis, renal, and respiratory. Not much of a fan of neuro. Or detox.

I want to say Hi to Beth! I get to work with her in the same MICU. I think MICU rocks. We do it all. We get orthopedic patients, pregnant patients, along with all kinds of organ failure. Very challenging!

I bounce between LTC and acute care. My husbands military so each move I try to switch around, it keeps me on my toes. I'd like to work in the units once I graduate, that has never been an option being a LPN.

Please don't pay any attention to my misspelled words or typos. Sorry I'll try harder next time.

I worked in the ER after graduating from Nursing School, did that for about 1 1/2 years at a big hospital about an hour away from me. Now I work as a Psychatric Nurse, running an intense outpatient program in my hometown and I love it! (In nursing school, we spent a week in at the State Mental Hospital, never thought I would ever deal with psych clients again... but It's so much fun!)

I am currently a pediatric home health nurse for medically fragile children. I love it. I also have many years of experience in NICU, nursery and post partum. Always wanted to learn Labor and OR. Maybe one day when my kids are grown and through college. They are most important.
