| Posted almost 5 years ago Charlotte, It's fantastic that you want to become a RN. Don't let anything get in your way. I'm still a nursing student and will graduate in May 2009. I can tell you that you first need to get that GED. From there take a look at colleges/community colleges in your area and enter with a major in nursing. Take all the pre reqs you need. There are a lot of them. From there you will enter "nursing school". I wish you a lot of luck....it's not easy, but it's so rewarding. Stay in touch and let us know how you do on your journey. |
