Posted almost 5 years ago Anyone out there ave any good suggestions for quiting smoking. Tried patches and gum, not working. Insurance wont pay for the meds that are suppose to help. Quit for 3 years and then lite up again, trying to quit again. Last time I quit, I just quit. This time I think I have done everything but a Mexican Hat dance and if I thought it would work, I might be willing to try it. And don't act like I am the only nurse on this site that still smokes please.

| Posted almost 5 years ago I'm not a smoker and never was so I can't give you any pointers on how to stop. I'm sure, as with any other addiction, it's very hard and stressful. Take one day at a time and before you know it you'll be SMOKE FREE! Good luck. |
