ANY1 Knows an RN programs that require just the pre-requistes of having a LPN license?


a LPN license from a trade school.

There are several different avenues to become an RN. "Bridging" from LPN to RN is one of them. I have noticed from what I have seen on this website that there are many different prerequisites for different nursing programs.


I think the best advice I can give you is to seek out the assistance of your local college's student advisor. Write all your questions down and make an appointment. Do not be intimidated, this is what the student advisor is there for. Don't leave until you feel comfortable with the information given or make another appointment to go back if you are still unclear as to what to do.

There are a lot of programs that offer this.  It is called a bridge program.  Actually almost all of the nursing schools that I have looked at offer this option.  I think they don't have to take some of the intro nursing programs.  But I could be wrong because I was not an LPN when I started school.
