I have no nursing experience and I do not have a undergrad nursing degree. Currently, I am working in marketing for an apparel company - veru different! I would like to become a nurse practitioner. I would like to start working in a medical related field before I go to nursing school - - however, like I said, I don't have experience. Does anyone have any suggestions for a job that I can have for a year before nursing school that pays at least $30/hour that is somehow medically related? Or is a better idea to keep my current job in marketing unti l go to school?

Assuming your current job pays well, you could also consider keeping your job and volunteering at a hospital.

$30.00 an hour? You better check out nursing pay in your area before you go to nursing school!
