Posted 2 months ago has anyone heard of a company in philadelphia called the samcor company that hires Rn's to do long term care assessments? Are they legitimite? The application asks for social security # etc but there is not a lot on the web about them...

Posted about 1 month ago I just became employed with Samcor. They are legitimite, I was a little skeptical at first too. They are just a broker for these insurance companies to get a nurse out to the assessments. I have my first assessment tomorrow. I am going to try out a few to see if pay is worth it. But in the first day of employment I got 2 assessments to do. I'm a stay at home mom so this is perfect because I can take a many or as little assessement as I want and can make the appointments to fit my schedule!

Posted about 1 month ago Who is the owner of Samcor? Seems a bit sketchy of no info on web- I searched the web and all I see is craigslist adds. I see other companies pay up to $100 for the assesments so why dont you work directly for those companies? Is Samcor a 3rd party? What companies does he work with?
