Very annoying: Many have posted about the annoying emails to invite people to take a quiz. I also have found them to be quite annoying. In addition, having the results pop up are very annoying. It appears that the “take this quiz” notes are sent out automatically and the results are automatically posted. I checked the box on mine to not post the results as I am sure others are as annoyed by this as I am. Yet, I see that my results are not only posted, but notes are sent out as well to members on the site to take the damn quiz. Please, get rid of these two features.

I just really wonder if anyone listens.  We've asked for this before, received a bunch of rhetoric and nothing changed.  I've emailed about the abuse of the anonymous zone, nothing has been done there.  I'm just tired of asking for reasonable changes and being either ignored or placated.

dmaze: Me too. I wonder what the motive of the site admin really is sometimes.

Hello All. We thank you all for the constant feedback about the site and we can assure you that your concerns are not being ignored. We understand that excessive quiz invites to your Inbox and email account can become annoying and we are working on a fix for this issue. In the mean time - you can go to your profile >> My Account >> and uncheck "Email Notification" if you wish to not recieve these emails any longer. We know this isn't the best fix, but please bear with us while we work on s solution.

If you have any more concerns regarding the site, feel free to PM the editor.

That email check box is not for the email on the site. theat email check box is for our personal accounts.  This is not a fix for the quiz invites.

See, told you, placating, unacceptable solution.  At least this time, we're finally told they're working on it.

I, personally, don't mind the quiz invites. I take'em all. But you have to remember I'm a CNA (bottom of the food chain) and it doesn't take much to amuse me. I suppose I like it because most of my scores are the same as the nurses and I like that very much. Take 'em if you want to, delete 'em if you don't. I do know that since I've joined NursingLink, I have a greater appreciation for the other kinds of work I've done in my life and I'm not tied to one thing in order to earn a living.

I agree.  Since I am new th Nursing Link I thought members were sending me notices about quizzes.  I was annoyed at those people.  I did not know that these were automatically sent.
