| Posted over 4 years ago Wll I see know one has answered this.....I am just a nursing student, but I do a lot of research on hospitals website. What better then to go straight to the source. If you pull up the hospitals web site, then go to programs, it is under there. They state what is are the minimum requirements, positions avaliable and positions filled and they also give a brief description the program.....HOw this helps. |

| Posted over 4 years ago I would suggest to all nursing students become a nurse extern it a nursing assistant but it allows you better access to a job and don't wait to the last minute I talk from experience I did and I just got a job three months after I graduated. Position for new nurse are hard to come by |

| Posted over 3 years ago Each program is different so you would be best off looking into the requirements of the specific ones you are interested in. In the mean time study hard as nursing may not be the hardest thing you have ever gotten into, mattering on your prior experience, but it is certainly not real easy. If your the right person you will love nursing or if your not you may end up one of the Forum junkies on this site with mostly negative postings. You know, the kind of person that looks like their face is going to crack if they smile. Good luck and smile when the going gets rough.
