Posted almost 5 years ago Where do you stand on the conflict between these two prominent unions? A quick re-cap: In mid-March of this year, the National Nurses Organizing Committee (NNOC), an offshoot of the California Nurses Association (CNA), objected to the Service Employees International Union’s (SEIU) vote to organize over 8,000 Ohio nurses in nine Catholic Healthcare Partners (CHP) hospitals. | Posted almost 5 years ago CNA/NNOC hands down has my absolute support. I've been a member of CNA and they have always treated the nurses fairly and professionally. SEIU is owned by the hospitals and do not represent nurses. |

| Posted over 4 years ago I know from the nursing journals that I read, and I hate to keep repeating myself, but the Californai and NY nurses rock. Why? becuase they stick together and stand up for their rights. NY nurses run the hospitals, not the corperations, and that is the way it should be. Without groups like CNA, we will never get anywhere. We have to stand together. Why CNA over SEIU? becase CNA is a nursing orginaztion. what in the HELL would a group of houskeepers and kitchen workers know about such things as nurse-patient ratios and, safe staffing, and mandatory OT? |

| Posted over 4 years ago Wow. I am so sorry Littlerock has these feelings. I certainly don't have any respect for someone that thinks one bad apple ruins all the RNs. I agree with dmazement.. quite the saboteur. RN bashing certainly isn't the answer here Littlerock. |
