We have German Shepperds and are breading our oldest 3 year old Max, he now has a wife named Lilly and 4 sons, he is fortunate to have a dad as an attorney because he got a great visitation schedule, every weekend he sees his kids, he is luckier than many humans on this one. He does have a new girlfriend Roxy who we hope just got pregnant  2 weeks ago (still waiting to here) so he is a busy dad, what do you guys think about breading? I here many talk about over crowding issues of dogs in shelters I have been there to visit, but MAX is gorgeous look at my profile and see his photos, I keep in touch of each child of his to be sure they are getting great care, love you input on this.

I've never wanted to breed any of my dogs.  Millions of dogs and cats are euthanized every year in the US.  I would want to keep them all anyway, so that's another reason I've never attempted it

I think thats great that you stay intouch with the people who own the puppies that called being a responsible breeder.   You should really look for a  German Shepherd Dog Club in your area.  I think you would enjoy it.  You can a have alot of fun with people who have the same interest as you.

we have a mini doxie pure breed, we made sure we pre-sold the pups to not good but great homes, it was more like adoption, and always have the policy that if at ANY time the person cant have the pup they HAVE to bring it back to me.

I have been a pug breeder for many years now.  The breed is incredibly wonderful.  The breeding itself is quite tedious though.  The pugs are known as difficult whelpers and prefer not to nurse without assistance.  As a breeder I have experienced the most beautiful births as well as difficult losses.  Currently our family pets include three generations of pugs and we can't imagine life any other way.
