I hate wearing them - yet some people feel like the whole outfit is always necessary. Is piecemeal sometimes ok?

No reason why someone can't mix and match.  Done all the time.  Some people even wear scrub tops with jeans when not at work.

" I actually enjoy wearing scrubs to work, mixing and matching.Usually will try to by multicolored top to coordinate with

two / three scrub bottoms. With the addition of a light, scrub jacket, one can easily adjust to inner temps of work.

If too hot / humid, remove jacket. Easy to launder and a great conversation opener when caring for patients who compliment,

" nice outfit",or,"that's my favorite color". Depending on the manufacturer, they can,"last a good while".

You can also use your uniforms as a tax deduction if you have purchased enough to qualify.
