| Posted almost 5 years ago Well I guess it depends on what part of the country you work in. Some of the large hospitals in my city have or are phasing LPN's out. I have a friend who just graduated as an LPN and she had to quit working at one hospital because they would not hire her. She ended up working in a extended care facility. |

| Posted almost 5 years ago i heard also they throwing away the LPN... well i am a practical nursing graduate in the philippines last april and i just moved here in california..i am married and for now i am looking forward about the licensure exam here but still cant find a way..can anyone help me how can i get a licensed or if i am able to take the exam since i graduted on different country..thanks |

| Posted almost 5 years ago This is a great description of LPN's, I know in our area most of the LPN's here work in nursing homes and medical clinics. The RN's get the hospital jobs. So if I decidedto live here I will definetly have to further my education to get into the hospital. MICHELE
