Posted over 5 years ago Does anyone know if people have ever been diagnosed with the Ultrasound Test for Osteoporosis likelihood (-1.0) "Low Risk" and been found to have current bone loss? Reason for question, a patient sustained a fall on the hands, ankle was secondary impact. No ankle pain at time of incident, but frequent ankle pain 3 years later (where impacted) and noisy tendons in that leg. I'm just curious if a person could have a Low Risk (-1.0) rating with this test overall and still have beginnings of osteoporosis? Jeannie |
