| Posted almost 5 years ago I was wondering about that too. I know the quiz on NL has plenty of algebra questions but i feel that it's more math that involves chemistry used in nursing. I know you definitely have to know the terminology as well as how to prepare solutions. |

| Posted over 4 years ago From what I have heard you don't have to use Algebra. You can use basic math for the conversions. I used just the basic math as a medical assistant, but other nurses told me that they just use the basic math. Most nurses I have talked to hate math too. |

You will use the ratios: propitiations of algebra. That’s it. 15 years ago they were talking about no longer having algebra as a requirement. Guess they are still talking about it. |

| Posted over 4 years ago I did use proportions, but I don't consider that algebra. Maybe I am wrong, but I thought that was easy. Believe me, I never thought I would say that. I am actually getting use to this algebra stuff. Like I said in my other posts, I was in special ed for math in high school. So I have come a long way and if I can do it anyone can! |
