Posted over 4 years ago Besides assessments on pur pt's, what do you feel is the next most important thing we, as nurses do? I feel education should be high on the list, as an educated pt is a more healthy pt. |

| Posted over 4 years ago I agree. patient education is very imporant. We need to spend more time on this then we have in the past. Do not forget that we have to also educate family members of the patients. |

| Posted over 4 years ago Being a Patient Advocate. Make sure you are looking out for the patient to protect their rights and help them obtain needed information and services. Education is a big part of this, b/c patient's don't always know what's going on and what their rights are or where to get or receive information they may need.
