Posted over 4 years ago I urge anyone who is considering voting for Barack Obama to think long and hard before doing so. Sen. Obama is a 1st term senator, who has basically done nothing. The fact he voted against a bill to help take of aborted babies who survived the procedure says volumes about the man. Yes, I am prolife and yes, I am a Christ follower, so yes, I'm a Republican. However, I try to keep an open mind about the candidates, particularly presidential ones. With Obama and the far left, I am terrified not only about his lack of experience, but also the judges he might put on the Supreme Court. America has lost so much of its integrity due to the far left, and it sickens me to think we are potentially going to sink even lower if Obama is President. And what about his wife, Michelle? I urge you to read her Princeton thesis where she basically trashes the white race, and also how she said how she has not been proud to be an American throughout most of her adult life. And she wants to be First Lady? I don't know how anyone can cast a vote for this man, especially with his excuses over not singing the National Anthem (and if the National Anthem was changed to "I'd Like to Teach The World to Sing", that's an anthem he could be proud of and would sing) and how he doesn't wear a flag pin. In both instances, he's trying to avoid "offending" those who don't believe in these 2 things. Well.....if there are Americans who don't want to sing our anthem, they are free to leave our great country at any time (and when you go, please take the Obamas with you). America has its problems, what country doesn't? But is is the greatest country in the world, the freest in the world (which allows us to express our opinions), and I love it and am proud of it. And in my mind, the greatest thing I can do for it is stand with John McCain and I will be voting for him in November. If there are any other nurses in Ohio who agree with me, I'd love to hear from you!!! And those who don't, you are invited to respond as well! God bless!

| Posted over 4 years ago I'm American too and I am not proud either. I can care less about the anthem or if there's any changes in it. But it's discusting to know that it's unfortunate that there's racism everywhere it does't matter color, race or sex, or religion. I don't believe this country has given me the freedom it should give everyone, we don't have the actual right of "freedom of speech." While it's true that Obama has less experience at least he has the right, young mind to make and actual difference instead of continuing with the current failure Republican's have put us through in these last eight years. I will be graduating from nursing school soon and I have little experience, but that doesn't stop me from becoming one of the greatest. Let's not forget that we ALL start from scratch, including you. You were not born knowing everything, you had to learn it, well so is he. As far as abortion, we are only advocates for patient's, it is actaully their right, their body, their decision. And while all this may sound harsh we have to be realistic. McCain is not that healthy and imagine he doen't make it far with his health, just imagine a "hockey mom" taking over as president. She defiently has no experience. It doesn't matter if she is the gov. of Alaska, who really care's about that, when people's lifes are at stake. The facts are that the $5,000 proposal from McCain is a joke, as a nurse, or student you know everything is expensive. They just raised ambulance rates here in California it's ridiculous. For all the seniors they already take lots of meds, $5,000 is not enough, that would not even include co-pay fees, hospital fees, and then you have to pay it back. Now that is a joke!!! And beleive me "white race" is not the only one that is trashed, so don't take it personal. I am from Hispanic descent and I am very proud of it, and I won't be going anywhere. All races make this country. |
