| Posted almost 5 years ago I've known my husband for 34 years (since we were 5 yrs old) but we didn't become a couple until 2002. Six years is in no way long enough to learn all of the military acronyms!!! Oh by the way, I had the privilege of answering the phone this morning at 430am for a Recall - that's something else spouses go thru - phone calls at all hours of the night!!! Who hasn't dealt with that??? LOL!! |

You are so right! I have found that those friends, be it my husbands buddies at work, or the spouses that I have befriended, it doesn't matter where you move or how long it has been, they always stay in touch and you have a never ending friendship. Most of our good friends are either stationed in Texas (where we are going next) or in New Orleans...so we are still surrounded!!! Great posts everyone!!! Thanks for serving! |

| Posted almost 5 years ago My husband has been ad army for nearly 6 years, we are currently at Ft Benning, but he just came down on recruiting orders. We don't know yet where we will be going. Unfortunately, I just started nursing school 2 months ago so I will be staying here with our 2 little boys until I graduate next Dec. |
