Hi arjay, I might help you. Well, i was on the same dilemma after I passed the local boards in the Philippines. Well, the real thing is that you don't need an experience to be able to take the NCLEX exam. But its just that you will still need to go through a lot of process for you to have a visa and work in US. But what I can suggest to you is to search if what state u really want to work at and then see their requirements. It's better to take your nclex exam first before doing an experience in the country since all your theories are still fresh. Are you asking also if u can take the nclex exam in US? If that's the q the answer is 'it depends' since we all know that US embassy is quite strict in giving out tourist visa to RN's. You can take the nclex in the Philippines. It doesnt matter where u take it as long you will be able to pass it! Good Luck!;) |
