I plan on studying practical nursing. But i notice all schools are overcrowded and have waiting list for nursing? theen why is there a nursing shortage since evryone wants to be a nurse and is doing it? In a few years from now i predict that nursing will be a overcrowded field? but i still want to study PN.

The nursing shortage also affects nurse educators. There simply aren't enough teachers to train the future nurses. This is one reason nursing schools are so impacted and difficult to get into.
