Who said Jesus was liberal??? Does he except homosexuality and gay marriages.  Does he approve abortions, Does he approve of cheating spouses??? Where does it say that he was liberal.

Who said that liberals approve of cheating spouses? Have you forgotten that McCain cheated on his first wife with his present wife? Jesus is the ultimate liberal. What Bible do you read that you do not know that?  

Look at the teachings of Jesus to know that he was a liberal. The first ultimate liberal. He taught compassion, equality, tolerance and peace. Do you not think that tolerance, equality and peace does not cover gays?

I make it a policy to not discuss politics and religion.  These are peoples personal choices and ideals.  This is what our country is founded on and our constitutional right.  I only have to say to this, if McCain wanted a woman for VP, there were several very good candidates who were better qualified.   If he truly wanted Mrs. Palin, he should have looked into "Trooper Gate" a little deeper.  The cat is out of the bag and there is less than a month to go.

Jesus believed in charity not stealing.

Jesus also chased the money changers from the temple with a whip and he said not to cast your pearls before swine?  I think anyone can take the Bible out of context and make it say anything they want to say.

Fact:  Jesus was the Perfect Son Of God.  He did not condone adultry just like he did not condone any other sin.  In God's eyes sin is sin.  It does not mean if it is what people call a "little while lie" or murder.

1 Corinthians 6:9-11 (NIV)

(9) Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God?  Do not be deceived:  Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders,

(10) nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kindom of God.

This covers a whole lot more sins than adultry and homosexuality.  Jesus loves us so much he gave his life to save us from ourselves.  Jesus does not condone sin, he made a way for us to be saved by his precious blood.  That is the mystery of the cross.

Jesus does not leave the woman there. Notice he ends with the words, "Go and sin no more." Christ does not condemn. He came to save us, to give us a new life. But when we commit our life to him, the we must go and sin no more. We cannot continue to practice sin. Jesus is reaching to you with love and compassion. He is asking you to come to him. He did not come to condemn you but to save you. Won’t you let him be Lord of your life today?

If we're going to inject Jesus into this, he would forgive someone for their sins and say "GO AND SIN NO MORE".  He was against adultery, homosexuality, and all manner of sins.  Yes, John McCain sinned, but he has said many times, that he did it, and that he is sorry for it.  He's not running on a platform of adultery.  The thing you don't understand CDnurse, is that fine distinction.  Yes, we all have sinned, but if you ask for forgiveness.......it's forgiven.  You are to go on and sin no more.  There are many of you that openly admit (as Obama himself as admitted) that Obama did cocaine and pot.  As you all like to say, yes he did but he now knows it was wrong, and has moved on.  Why can't you  give John McCain the same benefi of the doubt.  I think that makes you very hypocritical.

Is not an act of a  liberal to change or believe in things differently than the majority?  Your Jesus went against the norm of the day, thought differently, wrought changes through out the world, from his preaching and personal selfless acts.  He taught love, acceptance, humility, tolerance.

I hope this  link posts right.  Everybody is in an uproar about the Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae crap...............McCain was involved with trying to regulate thes financial monsters!  In the article I just read, Obama and the other Democrats in the Senate refused to sign it.  I wish I understood legal crap more.............throw me in ACLS class and I'm a happy camper.  Put me up with a list of legal and government articles and I'm like an alien from Mars..     The last time I tried to cut and paste the whole article it shut down the whole thread because the font grew and grew and grew like the Staypuff Marshmallow Man in Ghostbusters.

Have any of you actually read the whole story of 'troopergate', other than the liberal spin doctors ? First off the State trooper is still employed, even after he Tasered a child.  Second she fired her public safety commissioner, with well documented reasons.  Third the public safety commisioner said several months back, that he was NOT fired for anything to do with the State Trooper.

Excuse me but you conservatives want LESS regulation, and MCCAIN is quoted as saying we need less regulation in Washington, of course then this happens, and all of a sudden it is good to have regulation. You can't have it both ways.  This is why MCCAIN can not and will not win on Nov 4, 2008 is because he just can't keep it straight. Well I should say his campaign managers are idiots and have ruined any chance of him winning.

I am a registered independent and ashamed to admit I voted for Bush 8 years ago, however I can not vote for McCain. I had always like John McCain until now. He is a mud slinger and I have never liked that no matter who it is about. We need to know what he plans to do and I am sorry he has missed the mark. And picking Sarah Palin just didn't do what he had hoped it would do and that is get womens votes. He thinks women are stupid doesn't he. She is alright, not VP material but I like her okay. Maybe she will someday be our first women president who knows, but she will not be the first women VP, not this year anyway

Didnt you look at the link I posted that showed the letter McCain was BEGGING to regulate Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac?  His signature is right across from Ms. Dole!    This was in 2006 and it seems alot of Democrats did NOT sign it..........maybe it's because they were afraid it would bite into their wallet.

Troopergate does not show anything was done illegally !!!    I know all about the group that met and feels Gov Pailin misused her power but apparently she isn't charged with anything illegal.   A bunch of whiners who are upset over a good old boy getting fired.  I think the phrase was 'insubordination'.   Personally, I wished Pailin's sister would be given a special pass to taser the guy who tasered her 10 yr old kid.    People are really trying to do that witch hunt!   She just should have just let her husband say and do whatever he wanted to, let the cards fall how they may..................if a man can get out of jail time from tasering a 10 yr old, what can they do to a man for a little verbal harrassment to a state troopers boss?  Hubby can go and live in the Artic Circle for monthes and nobody could find him anyhow, he's like an eskimo.
